OSSTF/FEESO x Junior Carnival: Promotion Giveaway Collection

OSSTF/FEESO set up a booth at Junior Carnival, a family-friendly parade celebrating Caribbean culture through costume, steelpan music and dance. They handed out giveaways there and shared information on the issues facing teachers. I designed a set of promotional items to draw families to the booth and carry the union’s brand into homes and classrooms after the event.

OSSTF/FEESO set up a booth at Junior Carnival, a family-friendly parade celebrating Caribbean culture through costume, steelpan music and dance. They handed out giveaways there and shared information on the issues facing teachers. I designed a set of promotional items to draw families to the booth and carry the union’s brand into homes and classrooms after the event.
The collection centres on a custom illustrated collage of Carnival icons: steelpans, drums, feathered headpieces, flags, microphones and musical notes, plus festival foods like jerk chicken and fish. The OSSTF/FEESO logo sits in a bold red bar at the heart of each design. I adapted the artwork to each item with its own colour story. The pencil case uses a vibrant rainbow palette on yellow, the eraser uses warm reds and golds on cream, and the mood pencil uses a simple white line treatment on blue that shifts to light blue when held.
The client loved the designs, and so did festival-goers. All 4,200 items were gone before the event ended, and many visitors came back to the booth asking for more to share with friends and family.
